# Maintain your company profile

<Lead>
Under **Settings > Company** (Einstellungen > Unternehmen) you maintain your firm's master data in one place: name, contact, address, legal links and working hours. Tools read this data automatically and never ask you twice.

Enter it once, use it everywhere: tools pull the company name, contact details, address, legal links and your working hours straight from the company profile.

## Master data

    The official name including the legal form, for example "Müller Immobilien GmbH". Tools use it for exposés, email footers and the bot's public appearance. The workspace name under **Settings > Workspace**, by contrast, is the brand without the legal form.

    Your VAT identification number in the format country code plus number, for example DE123456789.

## Contact and address

    Public email address and phone number for your customers, for example kontakt@ihr-buero.de. These details are independent of your login: you can show a central office address even if you sign in with a personal one.

    Your public website.

    Street and number, postal code, city and country. Available countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein. The address is your business address for the imprint and stationery.

## Legal

    Public link to your privacy policy. Mandatory for customer-facing channels: the WhatsApp bot links it in the legal notice at the start of every conversation.

Both legal links must be complete https addresses. The form does not accept addresses without https.

## Set your working hours

The working hours tell the platform when your team is available. The WhatsApp bot uses them to answer availability questions; more tools will follow.

    In the weekly grid from Monday to Sunday you switch each day to open or closed individually. The default is Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with Saturday and Sunday closed.

  <Step title="Enter times">
    Enter the from and to time per day. The to time must be after the from time. With **Zeiten für alle Tage übernehmen** (apply times to all days) you copy Monday's times to all open days.

  <Step title="Check the preview and save">
    The live preview shows the sentence exactly as tools and customers will read it. Then save via the save bar. The interface confirms with **Unternehmensprofil gespeichert** (company profile saved).

## Frequently asked questions

  <FaqItem q="Do I have to fill in every field?">
    No. The more complete the profile, the more tools can take over automatically. The privacy policy, however, is mandatory as soon as you use customer-facing channels such as the WhatsApp bot.

    Tools then show no availability hours at all.

  <FaqItem q="What is the difference between workspace name and company name?">
    The workspace name is your brand as your team and customers see it. The company name is the official name with the legal form, used for exposés, imprint and invoices. They may differ, for example "Müller Immobilien" as the brand and "Müller Immobilien GmbH" as the company.
