The WhatsApp bot is a monthly add-on. The monthly price carries the running operation of your number, and in the current version nothing is charged for the messages themselves.

## The two packages

<PlanBadge plan="compact" /> Bookable from the Compact plan, on the tool entry in the marketplace.

<DefinitionList>
  <DefItem term="WhatsApp Bot Standard, 29 EUR per month">
    The complete menu bot: automatic replies around the clock, the eight standard flows, the flow studio with its simulator, the team inbox with handover, appointment booking inside the chat, sending listings as PDF, the knowledge base and analytics.
  </DefItem>
  <DefItem term="WhatsApp Bot with AI assistant, 79 EUR per month">
    <Badge>Coming soon</Badge> On top of that, an AI answers free-form questions about your properties, strictly on topic and within fair-use limits (up to 500 AI replies per month, at most 20 per contact per day). This package cannot be booked yet.

<Callout tone="note" title="Why the AI package is visible but locked">
It is listed in the marketplace so that nobody books it and then waits to be enabled. Once it is available you switch packages without setting anything up again; your number, your flows and your conversations stay as they are.

## No credits per message

<CreditCost credits={0} />

In the current version the core of the bot is rule-based: it guides through menus, buttons and the answers you stored, and it never phrases anything freely. Nothing is charged for that, no matter how many conversations are running. The add-on price covers the operation.

When the AI assistant arrives, the fair-use limits of that package apply instead of a charge per reply.

<Callout tone="info" title="WhatsApp fees are part of the price too">
For certain messages outside the 24-hour window WhatsApp charges a fee of its own. The add-on carries that cost. You do not get a second invoice and you do not have to set up billing with Meta.
</Callout>

## What other tools can add

If a workflow of the appointment booking tool sends a WhatsApp message through your connected number, every successfully delivered message costs a few credits. That is billed by the booking tool, not by the bot. Details there: [Cost and availability](/tools/booking/kosten).

Credit amounts below the small-amount threshold are hidden by default. They are still charged correctly, only the display is skipped. You can reveal them under **Account > Appearance** with the option **Show small credit amounts**.

## Not bookable during the trial

The add-on cannot be installed during the trial period. A connected WhatsApp number should not be switched off when the trial ends, because your clients keep writing to it. On a paid plan the tool is available immediately.

## What happens when you cancel

The number is deregistered and the bot stops replying. Conversations that already happened remain readable in the workspace until your configured deletion period expires. The number itself remains yours.
