## Included on every plan

The vault is available from the smallest plan upwards, and it is pre-installed during the trial as well. You do not install it, you cannot book it separately, and it cannot be switched off by accident. There is no setup fee.

## Everything that runs at no cost

  <DefItem term="Entries without a cap">Passwords, API keys, PIN codes and secure notes, as many as you need. There is no quota and no metering per entry.</DefItem>
  <DefItem term="All three confidentiality levels">Standard, sensitive and hyper-sensitive with in-browser encryption cost the same, namely nothing. The highest level is not a paid extra.</DefItem>
  <DefItem term="Sharing inside the team and outside">Grants to members, roles and groups, as well as time-limited share links for external people.</DefItem>
  <DefItem term="Vault check and access log">The check for weak and reused passwords, the access log and the trash are part of it.</DefItem>
  <DefItem term="Employee accounts and emergency access">Templates with progress tracking, unlocking via passkey and the nominated trusted person cost nothing extra.</DefItem>

## No AI, therefore no charge

The vault never runs an AI model. That means there is nothing here that could be charged quietly in the background. The platform rule of hiding small credit amounts does not apply to this tool at all, because no amount arises.

## Storage

Your entries are encrypted records, not files. They do not count against the storage quota of your plan. Only attachments you keep in your file storage count like any other file.

## What does cost money

The plan itself. The vault does not get more expensive as your team grows, but an additional seat can. What a plan includes, and what an extra seat costs, is shown in the workspace settings under billing.
