Properties are the central data base of your platform: tools like the exposé writer and homestaging work directly on them, and everything they produce is collected automatically on the respective property. This page walks you through the full journey from creating to archiving.
The property library
Under Properties (Objekte) in the navigation you find your entire portfolio.
- Status filters: Pills with live counts filter by status: Active, Reserved, Acquisition, Preparation, Draft, Paused, Sold, Ended, Archive and All (in the German UI: Aktiv, Reserviert, Akquise, Vorbereitung, Entwurf, Pausiert, Verkauft, Beendet, Archiv, Alle). Only statuses that actually contain properties are shown.
- Search: The search field looks through your properties by address, city and status.
- View and sorting: You can switch between grid and list view and sort by last change, creation date or name.
- Workspace defaults: Which view, sorting and status tab open by default is configured per workspace under Settings > Properties. The order of the status pills can be adjusted there as well.
Creating a property: the 3-step wizard
New property (Neues Objekt) starts the creation wizard. It only asks for the essentials; everything else can be added later. As soon as step 1 is complete, the property already exists as a draft, and every further step is saved automatically. You can stop at any time without losing anything.
Address and property type
Enter street and house number, postal code, city and the property type (apartment, house, commercial, plot, other). Only street, city and type are required. Living space and rooms are optional. Completing this step immediately creates a draft.
Upload images
Drag images into the drop zone or pick files (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB per image). The first image becomes your cover image across the whole platform; clicking another image makes that one the cover. Uploads save immediately and keep the order in which you upload them. You can also skip this step entirely.
Review and create
Choose the marketing type (sale, rent, lease), optionally an asking price and notes. A preview card shows how the property will appear. Create property (Objekt erstellen) finishes the wizard and takes you straight to the property page.
Editing a property: the tab editor
Edit (Bearbeiten) on the property page opens the editor with eight areas:
The field areas share one form state and are saved together via Save changes (Änderungen speichern). Images and documents save immediately on upload. After saving, the platform confirms that the change history has recorded the new state.
Documents with categories
In the Documents area you file paperwork in six categories: floor plan, energy certificate, exposé, official document, contract and other (Grundriss, Energieausweis, Exposé, Behörden-Dokument, Vertrag, Sonstiges). Allowed are PDF and image files up to 20 MB per file.
If the floor plan or energy certificate is missing, the platform points out which documents have not been filed yet.
The property page: everything in one place
The property page is deliberately not a data sheet but the hub for everything around the property:
- Created content: Everything your tools produce for this property (texts, images, videos, PDFs) collects here automatically, with a status per job (done, running, waiting, failed, cancelled). As long as nothing has been created yet, the page shows your installed content tools as starting points.
- Gallery: All images of the property, cover image first. Manage takes you straight to the images area of the editor.
- Documents: All paperwork, grouped by category, available for download at any time.
The Data & history tab (Daten & Historie) leads to the master data overview and the change history.
Change history
Every save automatically creates a version. Under Data & history you can see who changed what and when, field by field with the old and the new value. There is nothing to set up; the history writes itself.
Archiving instead of deleting
Archiving and restoring are available directly on the property page. You reach archived properties in the library via the Archive filter.
onOffice sync
If your workspace is connected to onOffice, the property library shows a Sync with onOffice button (onOffice abgleichen). It pulls properties and photos from your onOffice inventory into the platform. Photos initially arrive as storage-friendly previews; you can load the original individually via the Original hint on the respective image. How to set up the connection: onOffice integration.
Who can do what
There are four separate rights for properties: view, create, edit and archive (archiving counts as the delete right). What someone sees and can do depends on their workspace role; a viewer, for example, can only look at properties but neither create nor change them. If an action is missing for you (such as the New property button), ask an admin of your workspace. More on this: Workspace and roles.
